Description

Mr. Prasad Karpe is Orthopaedics Trainee in Northern Deanery. He has a special interest in spinal surgery.

He graduated from India in 2003. He obtained his Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2006 and the following year he passed the Diplomate in National Board examinations.

He passed his FRCS Intercollegiate T&O Board exams in 2014.

Prasad has had five years of spinal fellowships in India and England. He is presently doing his spinal rotation at James Cook Hospital. He plans to specialise in paediatric spinal deformity, something that he embarks to train after completion of his orthopaedic training.
